On December 12th, the 'Encountering Central and Eastern Europe: Mulan Forum in Ningbo', hosted by the Administrative Committee of Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone and organized by the Ningbo Women Entrepreneurs Association, successfully took place at Hall 9 of Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center, the permanent exhibition hall for Central and Eastern Europe. The event was co-hosted by Ningbo Import Commodity Center and Ningbo Free Trade Zone Ningshing Ubay International Trade Co.,Ltd.

Central and Eastern European Countries Specialty Pavilion," as an important platform for economic and trade cooperation between Ningbo and Central and Eastern European countries, and a key facilitator for introducing specialty products from the region to China, serves as a crucial component of Ningbo's "China-Central and Eastern European Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone." It stands out as the most distinctive and comprehensive distribution center for daily consumer goods from Central and Eastern Europe in China, covering an area of 32,000 square meters. The pavilion hosts over 70 trading enterprises from Central and Eastern Europe, featuring 34 specialty product sections and showcasing a diverse range of over 5,000 unique products from the region.

Female entrepreneurs first toured and sampled the products in the Central and Eastern European Countries Specialty Pavilion, gaining in-depth insights into the countries, product features, cultural aspects, and trade situations of Central and Eastern Europe. Over 50 enterprises, along with leaders from the city, district, and relevant departments—totaling nearly a hundred participants—gathered at the pavilion to focus on exchanges related to investment and trade in Central and Eastern Europe. They shared successful cases, explored investment opportunities, and actively integrated into the new development pattern of domestic and international dual cycles. Ningbo's female entrepreneurs enthusiastically responded to the national "Belt and Road" strategy, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and dedication. They contribute to accelerating the construction of a modern coastal metropolis in Ningbo and striving to create a model of shared prosperity and a demonstration area of Chinese-style modernization.

The President of the Ningbo Women Entrepreneurs Association, Gao Ping, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers. The meeting also featured speeches from leaders of the city, district, and relevant departments, including Hua Bitian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government; Ren Jinqun, Deputy District Head of Beilun District; Han Jun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce; and Xia Qun, Vice President of the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Coinciding with the opening of the Montenegro Pavilion on the same day, Danyela Jovović Dedić, Acting Ambassador of Montenegro to China, attended the forum and presented an introduction to Montenegro's investment environment.

In the subsequent thematic sharing session, Chen Fangfang, Director of the Provincial Academy of Commerce, He Bing, General Manager of Ningbo Budewa Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., and representatives from the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Ningbo Branch shared knowledge in the field of import and export trade with the female entrepreneurs present.

Members of the Ningbo Women Entrepreneurs Association, Gong Lihong, General Manager of Ningbo Yahu Import and Export Co., Ltd., representing the export trade sector, and Shi Chenjia, General Manager of Ningbo Free Trade Zone Ningshing Ubay International Trade Co.,Ltd., representing the import trade sector, shared their insights, experiences, and perspectives on business.

Finally, the Mulan Forum held a roundtable interview, with the renowned host Li Sa interviewing five outstanding female entrepreneurs on their innovative development in new fields and territories.

The managing director of the organizing company, Ningbo Free Trade Zone Ningshing Ubay International Trade Co.,Ltd., Shi Chenjia, is a director of the Ningbo Women Entrepreneurs Association and has been recognized as an outstanding entrepreneur in Ningbo. Under the leadership of General Manager Shi Chenjia, Ningshing Ubay, along with numerous female entrepreneurs from Ningbo, has ventured into Central and Eastern Europe, fostering deeper cooperation and extensive exchanges with businesses from the countries in the region. Expanding beyond existing collaborations with countries such as South Korea, Japan, and New Zealand, Ningshing Ubay has broadened its presence to more diverse international territories.
